Style Crush - Kyary Pamyu Pamyu -- きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ

I've recently found a new style crush in the form of Japanese singer, model, blogger and businesswoman Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Her downright amazing fashion sense really stands out to me, and her music is just so catchy! Kyary (real name Kiriko Takemura) started out as a fashion blogger before she began to model in Harajuku magazines such as Kera! and Zipper. She then became a businesswoman, launching a line of fake eyelashes and started to appear at various fashion shows. She released her first song PonPonPon in 2011, beginning her musical career!

I love the room that the video to PonPonPon was in, so cute!

How can you not find this adorable just look at what she's wearing, those shorts eeeee; I've never seen anything like this seeing as I live in England (where noone really dresses like this ;_;) and I'm going to see if I can take some influence from her outfits because wowowow!

I'm not quite sure what's going on here but it's fantastic.

Possible Halloween costume inspiration, not sure if I could hang upside down like a bat with such skill though!(◑‿◐)

She even makes bowling look like the best thing ever! Those shoes are so cute, I love the fact that they're so simple yet so effective, and the shirt and skirt combo is so pretty(✿◠‿◠) This is one of her more toned down looks, and I think it would be easier to wear out and stuff. Also SPACE STAR BOWLING SOUNDS SO FUN.

Kyary on the cover of Zipper. This makes me wish I could read/speak Japanese-I need to start learning!ヽ(*・ω・)ノ

You can't really see the top of the hat but I bet it's super adorable!

Kyary's fashion sense is really quirky, cute, and I hope to see more DIYs like the one rookie did sprouting up so I can try out some of her style!

I think I'm doing the whole teenager thing wrong

Sometimes I stop scrolling endlessly down my tumblr dash and think about what exactly I do with my life; absolutely nothing. There are people younger than me that have so much talent, and do amazing, splendiferous things with their lives and my every single day of my life schedule of scrolling down tumblr, eating and generally lazing about feels like it will never compare. Other people my age have normal 'teenage fun' and actually get things done while I sit around being stupidly lazy; and that's the thing. I could get up and do something, but I'm just too lazy and too tired and aHHS WQDLIEWOA ALL I WANT TO DO IS YELL AND KEYBOARD SMASH BECAUSE I AM EXTREMELY MAD AT MYSELF BECAUSE I'M CLEARLY DOING THIS WHOLE TEENAGER THING WRONG WELP.
In fact, starting right now, I AM GOING TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL AND/OR ANYTHING NOT INVOLVING TUMBLR. Yep. I'm interested to see how long I can keep this up for if I'm being honest!◡‿◡✿
 In other news, I'm seriously craving these stickers from Artbox;

I can just imagine sticking them everywhere, from boring schoolbooks and plain sketchbook covers, to my walls, on my friend's backs, wherever! I'm definately getting some next time I have a little money (I'm not sure if that'll be soon though!'.

Halloween is possibly one of the best things ever

I don't think I've ever met a single person, wherever I've been, that doesn't like Halloween. After all, who doesn't like costumes (creepy and cringey), free sweets and the overall very cheesy teenage horror/comedy movie feeling Halloween brings about? Halloween is a time everyone can revel in, whether you're a teenager lurking around for the free sweets, or a little kid still in it for the sweets. Can you tell I'm pretty over-the-moon about the free sweets?
My plans for Halloween are a little muddled at the moment (which I need to sort out actually) but they basically consist of some trick or treating, a few good old retro-style horror movies (you can't deny the general fantastic fash-off vibe from any female characters involved!), a lot of Halloween treats, and THE BEST FORT EVER CREATED AND KNOWN TO MANKIND.
One of my very favourite things about Halloween though, aside from girly bonding and whatever, is the very obvious style battles between the assorted teenagers. I mean yeah, it's supposedly a 'kids holiday', but who are we kidding? If your costume is considered 'lame', you must be extremely lame (a lesson I learnt from Mean Girls actually). Plus dressing up for that one day a year is entertaining, and something that with a little effort can look brilliant!

Some of my favourite Halloween fashion finds from across the internet:

If you're looking for a Halloween-related song, which I doubt you are but I'm going to tell you anyway, that is fabulous and has a fantastic music video, go watch Panic! at the Disco's 'It's Almost Halloween' (what an appropriate song title). I've kind of been listening to it non stop and probably will until it's actually Halloween (it's not an unhealthy addiction I swear!). And probably after Halloween until next Halloween. Yup.

I'm definately going to post photos from Halloween so look forward to that if you want^.^

I went to a gig!

I went to my first ever gig on Saturday! It was my friend's band, which they've had for a while but I think this is their first gig, they nailed it though.
This is what I wore:

The flower crown (and room!)-Alex's

Jumper-River Island
Vans-Schuh
Skinny Jeans-New Look
Shirt-New Look
Bag-Accessorize
Eye Necklace-Topshop
Lamb Necklace-Handmade by me

And these are some more photos:

It was really fun, and the first ever time I've been out with my friends on a Saturday night in the history of ever:') I went round Alex's house after, and we attempted to play Erie - we freaked out as soon as the monster came along though, so that was that.

Wow, be a little more subtle!

On Thursday, I went swimming in P.E. It was brilliant, me and my friends were just idly swimming around, minding our own business (and occasionally splashing eachother); up until about 10 minutes before we had to go. That was when we noticed them. THE THREE GROWN MEN STARING AT US FROM ACROSS THE POOL. We brushed it off, thinking they couldn't be staring at us, until we noticed they were slowly advancing towards us. A couple of minutes later, they were two lanes away from us; still staring. Ew. But as if it couldn't get any worse than 3 grown men perving on us, they swam into the lane next to us (still staring) and eventually INTO OUR LANE. WHAT. I wish I was joking, and I especially wish this when I say they started to swim towards us, the big old creeps. You might think I'm being a little harsh in calling them pervs, but considering they were staring creepily at us whilst shouting something (I couldn't understand though, it was in some other language) that didn't sound like 'hey great swimming, keep it up!' and sounded a little more on the obscene side, I think it's a pretty fitting title for the big ol' weirdos.
We got out of the pool shortly after, slightly creeped out. It was all 'jolly good' - or so we thought. THE WEIRDOS HAD MIGRATED TO THE CHILDRENS POOL. AND THEY WERE STILL STARING. They couldn't even be subtle about it, could they? Ugh. Hopefully, they won't be there next week. And hopefully, nothing like this will happen to you; but if it already has, hey let's moan about how disgusting guys can be?
TTYL BOO;)

Fort Building (is the best thing ever)

I know this is gonna sound silly and immature, but I love building forts. You know, the kind you made when you were 6 and watched Winnie the Pooh in? Yeah. There's just something amazing, something a little magical about sitting in a little fort made from blankets and random pieces of furniture, something that makes you feel like a little kid again.
Okay, I just had to get that off my chest, I'm gonna get all serious business now.
"Yeah because you're such a serious person Jade"
Shut up conscious (I had to google how to spell that, and I realised when I google things the tab I use google on has a troll face on it, weird.)
Anyway, remember I said about that art project thing?
Yeah, that kinda failed. Instead of doing that like I said I would, my weekend has consisted of drawing a llama woman super hero (photo up soon?), listening to music both real and parodies, making forts with my equally childish best friends (gotta love them) and eating quite a lot of chocolate (sorry I know I shouldn't I'll try harder).
To be quite honest, I prefer the way it actually went. I've never been able to plan things out and carry those plans out, and I'm not surprised that I still can't. Ah well, I guess that is just the way I am, and if I enjoy what happens when I just go with the flow and stuff, maybe I should just embrace it!
Hugs and stuff, yay

Procrastination is just so fun though!

Procrastination is something I do a lot of, really. I don't even mean to do it, I swear! But everytime there's something I need to do (like seriously need to do) like, say, revise for a science GCSE perhaps (terrifying stuff I know, first ever GCSE and all that), my brain suddenly decides 'just 5 more minutes on twitter', or 'oh a little nap wouldn't hurt'. I end up sitting on twitter for ages before realising I was meant to be doing something else, or sleeping for a couple of hours and waking up like 'oh nooo'.

The worst thing is that I know I'll be fine as soon as I start revising, or start that art project I set myself (more on that in a minute), but it's getting myself to start that gets me every single time. I'd rather stare at a wall or something than do what I'm actually meant to be doing, even if what I'm meant to be doing is something I actually enjoy, like art.
So basically, procrastination sucks. Big time.

Anyway, about that art project I've set myself! I decided that, in order to get me doing more stuff that I'm proud of, I'm going to set myself things to do; the art project thing (nice name I know) is one of them; in short the art project thing is where I set myself 1 or 2 week 'projects' based on a topic. The very first one I'm doing is on fairgrounds and funfairs, and I might even put some of the stuff I do on here, so look out for that and for the other goals I'm gonna set myself!:D
Byeeeee *hugs and stuff*
